Our online registration for Faith Formation* closed at midnight, if you or a family you know missed our registration windows please contact the Youth Formation Office.
Due to an influx of registrations we are in need of more leaders for the Sunday Night Youth Group at 645pm! We are also still looking for a few monthly Theology of the Body leaders, and weekly catechists at 1230pm, but we now have over 200 Volunteer Leaders who have said YES to God's call to serve the young church here at SJV through Youth Formation!.
*Please note: Sacrament preparation is a separate process and requires weekly faith formation (sjv or catholic school) the prior to -and- year of the sacrament (ie: 10th -and- 11th grade for Confirmation).

Our Volunteer Leader Training is this Saturday August 26th from 830am-1230pm in the Activity Center, if you are a leader please rsvp to your Elementary, Middle, or High School Coordinator ASAP :)
Parent Meeting September 17th
Parents of Middle and High School teens are invited to our Fall Parent Meeting** from 6:45-8:30pm Sunday September 17th in the SJV Activity Center (Lounge).
Come meet and pray with other parents, get information about our ministry through faith formation (ff/cce), youth group, Confirmation, service opportunities, worship nights and so much more! RSVP below:
**Note: This is not required for Confirmation families, 1 parent is required to attend the first Confirmation Session Sept 25th at 3pm
Volunteer Leaders Needed
As mentioned above we are in need of more Volunteer Leaders to help form teens in their faith! It takes around 250 adults to lead our K-12 ministries and we need around 23 more by September 10th. Please pray about assisting with Faith Formation this year. There are opportunities to be involved on a weekly or monthly basis. The chart above helps display the days and times we need additional leaders:
1 more leader at 930am on Sundays (9th grade)
3 more leaders at 1230pm on Sundays (1 Elem, 2 MS)
13 more leaders at 645pm on Sundays
In addition we are in need of 8 Theology of the Body leaders for elementary once a month.
